MULTIPLE MISCARRIAGES DUE TO HORMONAL IMBALANCES .

This was one of our cases from GHANA (AFRICA ) , the couple was in their late 30’s married for five years had a history of miscarriages between 8 to 10 weeks of pregnancy . After reviewing their blood works , it was revealed that the female had hyperthyroidism and the levels elevated as the pregnancy progressed. After having multiple miscarriages , the couple decided to visit india through ivf-world and see an expert fertility specialist and an experienced endocrinologist . Initially , they thought they could conceive successfully through IVF but after consulting ,our doctors suggested them to try naturally while putting them on medicines to boost their egg quality and semen quality for better outcomes. Once they conceived , a weekly blood test was done to ensure all hormones remain in control and no sudden hikes. A special diet programme was also given to them by the experienced nutritionist . As they had experienced multiple losses previously they stayed back till the pregnancy completed three months and flew back later.
