Very low sperm count ,PCOS and Moderately High Age

patient approached us with their previous reports showing very low sperm count and wife with pcos for the last 10 years or more, diabetic and high BMI. They wanted to come to India for their treatment which required a very tailored plan and assistance .

the wife was put on oral medications and an exercise program and even on insulin to keep the blood sugar levels in control ( high sugar can disrupt egg quality and fertility treatment) . on ultrasound , two mature eggs were formed and our doctor planned IUI instead of IVF . For the husband , our doctors used an advance technique called PICSI , it is an advanced IVF technique used to select the healthiest sperm for fertilisation by assessing functional quality rather than just appearance.

the patient conceived in the first attempt and the outcome was a successful twin pregnancy and healthy babies born around 33 weeks.
